The North American P-51D Mustang was a legendary World War II long-range fighter. By pairing a Packard V-1650-7 Merlin engine with a distinctive teardrop bubble canopy, the "D" model became the most produced variant. It successfully escorted Allied bombers to Berlin and dominated the skies.
