The Consolidated B-24 Liberator was a highly successful American heavy bomber during World War II, produced in higher numbers than any other U.S. military aircraft.

It featured a distinctive high-wing design and an exceptionally long range. It served in every combat theater, excelling at long-distance bombing and anti-submarine warfare.
